Airport Information

There are three area airports: Washington Dulles (IAD), Reagan National (DCA) and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI).

Reagan National Airport is a little over 7 miles from the Holiday Inn Arlington at Balston, and Metro (subway) transportation is available directly from the Reagan National Airport Metro Station.  Information on getting to and from the Reagan National Airport Metro Station and main airport terminals can be found on the Reagan National airport website.

Additional Metro information can be found on Metro’s website please note that the closest Metro to the Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston is the Ballston Metro on the Orange Line and the closest Metro to Founders Hall is Virginia Square/GMU  on the Orange Line.

Dulles Airport is about 26 miles to the west, and BWI Airport is about 50 miles to the north.  Both airports provide ground transportation to Arlington.

Meals/Dining Information

A light continental breakfast, morning and afternoon snack is provided each day.  One lunch and a reception – date not yet determined – will also be provided.

If you have specific dietary requirements please contact us immediately so that we can discuss meal options .  Otherwise, meals will be at your own expense.

Visiting DC

Washington, DC is a wonderful place to visit. If hosts fantastic museums, historical sites, entertainment, and restaurants. Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston is just a short walk away from the metro which will take you to most places in Washington, DC.  Virginia Senator Jim Webb suggest several places to visit on his website: Visiting DC from Senator Webbs’ website.
