Robert “Tyler” Braun

Robert “Tyler” Braun is a Masters of Science (M.S) student in the Health and Medical Policy program at George Mason University.  As he pursues his graduate degree, he continues to assist Dr. Len Nichols in bridging the worlds of health policy.  Tyler has held several positions related to the health care field. He recently was an intern in the Office of Congressman Rob Wittman, and he also held a position in the Department of Psychiatry at Georgetown University Hospital where he was a quality assurance coordinator.  Tyler’s main research interests are: state exchanges, Medicare, Medicaid, and new innovative payment models being developed under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Tyler’s long term goal is to pursue a PhD in Health Services Research and Policy and become an innovative and expert leader in the health policy field.

When Tyler is not studying or not in the office you can catch him strumming his guitar, playing basketball, and lifting weights.
