Health care is not only for the rich or the employed. People don’t realize the financial burden that NOT having health care puts on the nation. The ER is not a substitute for primary care. When people without heath coverage finally get sick enough to visit an ER, the cost of that hospital visit usually falls back on the tax payers. How does that make financial sense?
